Selection of Partners

1. The Center for Student Development employs qualified people to meet the needs of tutoring and special support, to accompany students with disabilities, to monitor exams, to transfer to mid-term and final exams as well as for any other needs arising from the policies stated in the Support Rules .
2. The search for partners is carried out transparently, through announcements on the University's website and social media and/or in the press.
3. Priority in any case is given to individuals within the university community. First to Postgraduate students and Research Associates of the University. Subsequently, to people who teach or have taught courses at the University as Specialist Scientists as well as to people outside the University with a relevant specialty. Finally, to undergraduate students, provided that in the case of tutoring support they have subject relevance and high academic performance.
4. Academic knowledge, relevant experience and the ability to adapt to the timetable are taken into account for the selection of partners. It is understood that candidates are required to submit the necessary supporting documents.
5. The same course can be provided in the form of support by different partners in an individual or group format, depending on the available hours of the partner and depending on the medical condition or learning difficulty of the supported person.
6. The supported students have the possibility to recommend collaborators, who can be selected by the Student Development Center if they meet the criteria.

Rewards

1. For tutoring support

Fees are per hour (60 minutes) and depending on academic qualifications, as follows:

*Depending on specialty and usual pay. A public announcement is made and the interested parties, together with their academic and professional qualifications, also submit an hourly wage requirement. The Student Development Center is not obligated to select the lowest price.

2. For examination supervision or occasional accompaniment:  €6.00 ​​per hour

3. To transfer to final and/or intermediate exams:  €13.00 per hour

4. For chronic companions of blind or physically disabled students

Finding an escort can be done by the Student Development Center and the escort can be paid directly by the University, but due to the many peculiarities, it can be employed by the student himself who will receive a relevant allowance from the University (provided that he presents proof payment to the Student Development Center each month).

The fee and/or allowance for the escort amounts to €500 per month. It is paid for the months during which the courses are held as well as the examination period, i.e. 4 months in each semester. It is understood that in case it is deemed necessary and necessary by the Head of the Studies and Student Care Service, the escort and its remuneration or allowance may exceed 4 months in each academic semester.
