Quality measurement indicators

The strategic goals of the University for Education until 2020 are the following:

  • Offer quality and internationally competitive study programs
  • Achieving excellence in teaching and ensuring continuous modernization of teaching work
  • Enhancing prospective graduates employment options
  • Attracting high level students in all study programs
  • Promoting lifelong learning

To monitor the achievement of the above objectives, the following factors are measurement indicators:

  • Number of programs (at undergraduate and graduate level)
  • Number of doctoral degrees awarded
  • Number of distance learning programs
  • Number of programs in English
  • Number of inter-university programs
  • Number of students per program (undergraduate and graduate)
  • Number of doctoral students per Department
  • Degree of satisfaction of students from their study program (eg program structure and content, teaching)
  • Degree of student satisfaction for the quality of the teaching work / effectiveness of teacher per lesson
  • Percentage of certified study programs (program evaluation)
  • Percentage of certified Departments
  • Percentage of students with practical experience in their field during their studies
  • Degree of interest of prospective students for the programs of the University
  • Average score of admitted students per program
  • General average for student grades for all courses per program
  • Percentage of students who complete their studies in the regular study duration (at undergraduate and graduate level)
  • Number of seminars, workshops and educational programs for the public for continuous professional education program
  • Number of students versus members of academic staff
  • Percentage of course coverage by external teachers per Department (based on teaching hours)
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of actions taken to attract students (i.e.  budget ratio for postgraduate program advertising in relation to the number of applications for postgraduate)
