Doctoral Student Grant for presenting at a Conference (Spring Semester 2022-23)

PhD students that fulfill the requirements mentioned below, are entitled to apply for a grant of up to € 1,000 for covering expenses related to presenting at a scientific conference. The term presenting refers to either an oral presentation or a poster presentation.

In order for a PhD student to be eligible for the grant, the presentation must take place after the student has successfully completed his or her comprehensive examination and before he or she has completed the requirements of the doctoral program. The application may relate to presentations that have already taken place or will take place in the future, via physical presence or via teleconference.

The Academic Affairs and Student Welfare Service announces that students can submit their application by filling out the electronic form until Friday, the 24th of February 2023 (2 p.m.). 

The application can only be submitted in electronic format and is accompanied by a reference letter from the student’s Research Supervisor and other supporting documents.
