Georgia Savvidou is a Special Scientist at the Language Centre of the Cyprus University of Technology with a specialty in teaching the English language to students with special needs. She holds a BA in English Language and Literature from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece and an Med in Special Educational Needs (with distinction) from the Exeter University,UK. She has taught students and adults in the private education in Cyprus. She concentrates on supporting the learning of students with learning difficulties such as Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, ADHD, ADD and many more, adapting teaching methods and techniques through interactive means and new
[...]technologies. Her research interests include alternative teaching methods that tend to be more effective for students with special needs, design and implementation of teaching material as well as use of new technologies in English language learning.
