Demetris Photiou, a member of the Unit, has been commended with '1ος Έπαινος' at the Students in Research/Foito competition for his work 'Nanomechanics of Titanium Films for Biomedical Applications'. The award ceremony took place during the 'Researcher's Night' that was held on 27th of September 2013 at the Charob Mills in Limassol.
