Members of the Unit have developed a new coating that its absorbance chracterestics resemble the solar spectrum profile. The multi-layer nanocomposite coatings compose of PDMS and plasmonic silver nanoparticles of various sizes. This first attempt lays the foundations for future developments in polymer-metal nanocomosite solar harvesting coatings.
