Ο Νίκανδρος Ιωαννίδης κατέχει διεθνές διδακτορικό στις Πολιτικές και Κοινωνικές Επιστήμες από το Πανεπιστήμιο Pompeu Fabra, μεταπτυχιακό δίπλωμα στη Δημοκρατία και Συγκριτική Πολιτική από το University College London (UCL), και πτυχίο στην Επικοινωνία και Σπουδές Διαδικτύου από το Τεχνολογικό Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου (ΤΕΠΑΚ). Η έρευνά του επικεντρώνεται στην πολιτική επικοινωνία, την πολιτική εκπροσώπηση και τη διασύνδεση των τεχνολογιών πληροφορικής και καινοτομίας με την πολιτική. Αποφοίτησε με άριστα από το UCL και ήταν επίσης ο πρωτεύσαντας στην τελετή αποφοίτησης του ΤΕΠΑΚ το 2019.
