Η Μαρίνα είναι Λογοθεραπεύτρια, με εξειδίκευση στην αποκατάσταση των επίκτητων διαταραχών επικοινωνίας, εργάζεται ως Ειδικό Εκπαιδευτικό Προσωπικό στο Τμήμα Επιστημών Αποκατάστασης του Τεχνολογικού Πανεπιστημίου Κύπρου και είναι η Συντονίστρια της Κλινικής Ενηλίκων. Κατέχει διδακτορικό τίτλο στις Ιατρικές Επιστήμες από την Ιατρική Σχολή του Πανεπιστημίου του Fribourg, Ελβετία. Η Μαρίνα έχει εκπαιδευτεί στην Προχωρημένη Δυσφαγία Ενηλίκων στο University College του Λονδίνου (UCL) και στην Ενδοσκοπική Οισοφαγική Κατάποση με Οπτικές Ίνες (FEES) στην Ιατρική Σχολή της Βοστώνης, στο Πανεπιστήμιο της Βοστώνης των Ηνωμένων Πολιτειών της Αμερικής. Είναι η ιδρύτρια του Κυπριακού Συνδέσμου Εγκεφαλικών Επεισοδίων (Cyprus Stroke Association), Γραμματέας της Συμμαχίας Εγκεφαλικών Επεισοδίων [...]για την Ευρώπη (SAFE) και Μέλος του Διοικητικού Συμβουλίου της Διεθνούς Ένωσης για την Αφασία (ΑΙΑ). Είναι περήφανη απόφοιτος του «Future Stroke Leaders Program Cohort1» του Παγκόσμιου Οργανισμού Εγκεφαλικού Επεισοδίου (WSO), μέλος της Ομάδας Εργασίας για την Εφαρμογή της Νευροαποκατάστασης και της Επιτροπής για την Παγκόσμια Εκστρατεία του Εγκεφαλικού Επεισοδίου του WSO. Η Μαρίνα συμμετείχε σε πολυάριθμα παγκόσμια ερευνητικά έργα του WSO που αφορούν τους νέους με εγκεφαλικό επεισόδιο, την αποκατάσταση στην οξεία φάση του εγκεφαλικού επεισοδίου και είναι συν-συγγραφέας της ενημερωμένης λίστας ελέγχου για την Δυσφαγία, την Αφασία και την Επικοινωνία του WSO. Η Μαρίνα έχει σταθμίσει εργαλεία για την αξιολόγηση και την αποκατάσταση της αφασίας σε Ελληνόφωνα άτομα μέσω μεθοδολογιών Συμπερίληψης των Ασθενών και του Κοινού (PPI), οι οποίες έχουν δημοσιευτεί σε επιστημονικά περιοδικά με κριτές.

Η Μαρίνα είναι Λογοθεραπεύτρια, με εξειδίκευση στην αποκατάσταση των επίκτητων διαταραχών επικοινωνίας, εργάζεται ως Ειδικό Εκπαιδευτικό Προσωπικό στο Τμήμα Επιστημών Αποκατάστασης του Τεχνολογικού Πανεπιστημίου Κύπρου και είναι η Συντονίστρια της Κλινικής Ενηλίκων. Κατέχει διδακτορικό τίτλο στις Ιατρικές Επιστήμες από την Ιατρική Σχολή του Πανεπιστημίου του Fribourg, Ελβετία. Η Μαρίνα έχει εκπαιδευτεί στην Προχωρημένη Δυσφαγία Ενηλίκων στο University College του Λονδίνου (UCL) και στην Ενδοσκοπική Οισοφαγική Κατάποση με Οπτικές Ίνες (FEES) στην Ιατρική Σχολή της Βοστώνης, στο Πανεπιστήμιο της Βοστώνης των Ηνωμένων Πολιτειών της Αμερικής. Είναι η ιδρύτρια του Κυπριακού Συνδέσμου Εγκεφαλικών Επεισοδίων (Cyprus Stroke Association), Γραμματέας της Συμμαχίας Εγκεφαλικών Επεισοδίων για την Ευρώπη (SAFE) και Μέλος του Διοικητικού Συμβουλίου της Διεθνούς Ένωσης για την Αφασία (ΑΙΑ). Είναι περήφανη απόφοιτος του «Future Stroke Leaders Program Cohort1» του Παγκόσμιου Οργανισμού Εγκεφαλικού Επεισοδίου (WSO), μέλος της Ομάδας Εργασίας για την Εφαρμογή της Νευροαποκατάστασης και της Επιτροπής για την Παγκόσμια Εκστρατεία του Εγκεφαλικού Επεισοδίου του WSO. Η Μαρίνα συμμετείχε σε πολυάριθμα παγκόσμια ερευνητικά έργα του WSO που αφορούν τους νέους με εγκεφαλικό επεισόδιο, την αποκατάσταση στην οξεία φάση του εγκεφαλικού επεισοδίου και είναι συν-συγγραφέας της ενημερωμένης λίστας ελέγχου για την Δυσφαγία, την Αφασία και την Επικοινωνία του WSO. Η Μαρίνα έχει σταθμίσει εργαλεία για την αξιολόγηση και την αποκατάσταση της αφασίας σε Ελληνόφωνα άτομα μέσω μεθοδολογιών Συμπερίληψης των Ασθενών και του Κοινού (PPI), οι οποίες έχουν δημοσιευτεί σε επιστημονικά περιοδικά με κριτές.
