Elena Charilaou is a Special Scientist, teaching English for Specific Purposes, at the Language Centre at the Cyprus University of Technology. Elena holds an Undergraduate Degree in English Language and  Communication from the University of Hertfordshire (2015) in London, United Kingdom.  Furthermore, she completed her postgraduate studies at University of Cyprus and holds a degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) since 2017. Her research focused on the possible relationship between the theory of Multiple Intelligences and Reading Strategies. Elena has taught English as a second and foreign language since 2015. Lastly, Elena has been an English Teacher in many private institutes as well as a lecturer in Higher Education in Cyprus.
