Dr Marinos Koutsomichalis of Media Arts & Design Research Lab participates with his work "Weierstrass function, finite state automata, and l-system" at "Audiosphere: Sound Experimentation 1980-2020" group exhibition taking place at the National Museum Reina Sofia, in Madrid - one of the most important contemporary/modern art Museums worldwide.
For "Audiosphere", the Museum hosts sound works of artists from all around the world and invites audiences to listen to them in the various spaces of the Museum employing a dedicated application and headphones. "Audiosphere" seeks to constitute a non-conceptual, large-scale contemporary art exhibition with no images or objects, underpinned solely by sound works and an exhibition design that facilitates experiential, profound and prolonged listening. The exhibition is open to the public between 14 October 2020 and 11 January 2021.
