An important cooperation agreement was signed on 2nd November 2020 between the Cyprus University of Technology and the Italian-Cypriot Chamber of Commerce.
The Memorandum of Understanding aims to formalize institutional collaboration between the two entities and also aims to promote the cooperation in academic and scientific fields as in professional and business training sectors.
The agreement was signed by the Rector of the Cyprus University of Technology Prof. Panayiotis Zaphiris and the President of the Italian-Cypriot Chamber of Commerce Dr. Giuseppe Marino.
The Cyprus University of Technology, which has over 2,500 students from all over the world, is characterized by its international approach and devotion to research and new technologies. According to the Times Higher Education rankings, CUT is ranked among the top 301-350 European universities worldwide (World University Rankings 2021), 57th among the top new universities in the world (Young Universities 2020), 19th among the top universities founded from the year 2020 and onwards (Millennial Universities 2020) and 148th among the top European Universities (Best Universities in Europe 2020)
Through its Committees and Working Groups, the Italian-Cypriot Chamber of Commerce develops qualified advocacy activities, aimed at promoting and protecting the interests of its members, supporting institutional action, creating consensus around issues on which there is a divergence of opinions, develop analyses and elaborate accurate proposals to be submitted to institutions.
