About the Award
Dr Ariana Polyviou, Department of Management, Entrepreneurship and E-Business, Faculty of Tourism Management, Hospitality and Entrepreneurship, has received the Mid-Career Award by the Association of Information Systems (AIS). With a community of over 5000 members, the AIS is the professional association for individuals and organizations in research, teaching, practice, and study of Information Systems worldwide. The AIS Mid-Career Award recognizes individuals in the middle stages of their careers who have already made outstanding contributions to the Information Systems (IS) discipline. Qualifications for the award include advancing and disseminating knowledge, engaging Information Systems pedagogy, service to the wider community, recognition from professionals, academics and entities outside of the Information Systems discipline, as well as demonstrated high levels of professional and personal integrity.
