Tasos C. Papanastasiou Award presented to Professor Pavlos Stephanou

Today, on the beautiful island of Syros, during the second day of the 11th Hellenic Society of Rheology (HSR) Meeting, we witnessed a historic and deeply meaningful moment for our community.
The inaugural "Tasos C. Papanastasiou Award" was presented to Professor Pavlos Stephanou of the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT), honoring his outstanding contributions to the field of rheology.

This prestigious award, established under the auspices of the Hellenic Society of Rheology and the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (@CCCI), honors the legacy of the late Professor Tasos C. Papanastasiou—an influential scientist and pioneer in rheology—30 years after his early passing. His work continues to inspire researchers across generations.
