Important Notice: Owing to the limited time remaining before the start of the January 2027 academic semester, the University will not be able to accept applications from candidates who require a visa to enter Cyprus and are applying for programmes that require physical attendance.

Supporting Documents:

Holders of a degree from a recognised university, or holders of a qualification that has been deemed equivalent to a university degree by the Cyprus Council for the Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications (KY.S.A.T.S.), in related subject areas, are eligible to apply for the Master’s programmes.

To apply, candidates must attach the following electronically:

  • A photocopy of their identity card or passport.
  • A curriculum vitae.
  • Photocopies of university degrees (or a certificate confirming that the university degree will be obtained before the start of the postgraduate programme).
  • Detailed transcripts of degrees.
  • A short essay (approximately 500 words) in which the candidate explains their reasons for choosing the postgraduate programme and describes their academic and research interests in relation to their future professional plans.
  • Recommendation/reference letters from two persons.
  • A certificate of English language proficiency*, required for all English-taught programmes. Accepted certificates are: G.C.E./I.G.C.S.E. examinations at O level with a pass grade of at least C, or ELTS/IELTS with a score of at least 6.5, or TOEFL with a score of at least 580 (paper-based test)/82 (internet-based test). Graduates of English-taught university programmes are exempt from this requirement.

*Prospective postgraduate students should be aware that, for all programmes, a very good command of English is necessary (although the proficiency certificate is not mandatory, except for English-taught programmes as stated above), so that they are able to engage with bibliography and/or any other material that will be in English.
