Applicants for all academic positions should have a doctorate degree from a recognized University. According to the Cyprus University of Technology Law, the language of instruction at the University is either Greek or Turkish. For the current position, good knowledge of the Greek language is required; evidence is provided in the relevant circular by the Public Service Commission, or B2 Level according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).

In case an elected candidate does not have a good knowledge of Greek language based on the criteria set above, it is his/her obligation upon his/her election to achieve it within three years time, with the commitment of the relevant Academic Department.

From this amount, employee contributions to Government Funds as well as Income Tax will be deducted, according to the legislation into effect.

Position:

One ESR to be recruited by the host organization of the Cyprus University of Technology in Limassol, Cyprus for the duration of three (3) years under full employment contract. The fellow will work on: Development of advanced metadata and semantic model for integrating: (1) Paradata of the acquisition technologies and historical and archaeological evidence of CH objects, (2) the argumentation leading to virtual reconstruction and discussing alternatives with the object owners/ stakeholders, (3) the connection of physical and social-historical, constructive, functional, aesthetic and environmental parameters, etc. with 3D/4D documentation of CH objects.

Expected Results:

A complete online platform for the holistic e-documentation of 3D CH objects: metadata, paradata, semantics, reflecting the interpretation and story of the 3D asset.

The Applicant should:

1.  Have completed at least a four or five year education cycle (e.g. Diploma in Engineering, Master’s Degree etc) from a recognized university in Geomatics, Computer- / Electrical Engineering Computer Science and/or Surveying Engineering with less than four (4) years of continuous full-time research experience in the above fields, with excellent programming skills and very good language and communication / implementation skills

2.  At the time of recruitment, not have resided (or carried out his/her main activity e.g. work, studies, etc.) in Cyprus, for more than 12 months in the last 3 years immediately prior to the reference recruitment date.

3.  Excellent knowledge of the English language at a proficiency level (spoken and written)

Το Τεχνολογικό Πανεπιστήμιο Κύπρου δέχεται αιτήσεις για την πλήρωση μίας (1) θέσης Ερευνητικού Συνεργάτη (Μεταδιδακτορικός Ερευνητής) στο Τμήμα Πολιτικών Μηχανικών και Μηχανικών Γεωπληροφορικής για πλήρη (Α) ή μερική (Β) απασχόληση σε ερευνητικό πρόγραμμα στο γνωστικό αντικείμενο «Energy and Hydrocarbons (Infrastructure and Resources) Research Innovation Education and Training»

Οι υποψήφιοι για αυτή την θέση θα πρέπει να κατέχουν:

1. Πτυχίο ή Μεταπτυχιακό (προαιρετικά) και Διδακτορικό από Αναγνωρισμένο Πανεπιστήμιο στα σχετικά γνωστικά αντικείμενα (Πολιτικής Μηχανικής, Μηχανολογικής Μηχανικής, Ναυπηγικής και Θαλάσσιας Μηχανικής, Πληροφορικής, Διαχείρισης Δεδομένων, Διαχείρισης Ενέργειας, ή Εφαρμοσμένα Μαθηματικά/Φυσικές Επιστήμες, Υπολογιστική Ρευστοδυναμική) με εφαρμογή σε σχετικούς τομείς.
2. Πολύ καλή γνώση της Αγγλικής Γλώσσας τόσο σε γραπτό όσο και σε προφορικό λόγο.

4. Εμπειρία στη διεκπεραίωση έρευνας/ών ή/και στη βιομηχανία σχετικών με το γνωστικό αντικείμενο, θα αποτελεί επιπρόσθετο προσόν.
5. Εμπειρία στη διεκπεραίωση έρευνας/ών σχετική με ανάλυση μετρούμενων δεδομένων δομικής συμπεριφοράς υποδομών ή δυναμικών συστημάτων από αισθητήρες, θα αποτελεί επιπρόσθετο προσόν.
6. Εμπειρία σε μεθόδους προληπτικής και προγνωστικής συντήρησης υποδομών και ανάλυση αξιοπιστίας, θα αποτελεί επιπρόσθετο προσόν.
7. Εμπειρία σε μοντελοποίηση και προσομοίωση θαλάσσιων υποδομών ή δυναμικών συστημάτων σε πραγματικό χρόνο καθώς και σε θέματα μηχανικής μάθησης, θα αποτελεί επιπρόσθετο προσόν.
8. Διεκπεραίωση ερευνητικών προγραμμάτων από εθνικά ή/και ευρωπαϊκά κονδύλια καθώς και στην συγγραφή ερευνητικών προτάσεων για χρηματοδότηση, θα αποτελεί επιπρόσθετο προσόν.
9. Οργανωτικές ικανότητες και διαπροσωπικές δεξιότητες, θα αποτελούν επιπρόσθετο προσόν.

Οι μηνιαίες ακαθάριστες απολαβές του υποψηφίου θα ανέρχονται στα €2,664.52 (Α) για την περίπτωση πλήρους απασχόλησης ή €1338,49 (Β) για την περίπτωση της μερικής απασχόλησης (72 ώρες ανά μήνα), βάσει των σημερινών δεδομένων και της ισχύουσας νομοθεσίας. Η εργοδότηση θα είναι από 10 Μαίου 2021 μέχρι 31 Δεκεμβρίου 2021, με προοπτική ανανέωσης. Σημειώνεται ότι, παρέχεται 13ος μισθός, ο οποίος έχει ενσωματωθεί κατ’ αναλογία στη μηνιαία αντιμισθία.
