1. Write exam days and times
2. Prepare your to-do list - Ask yourself:
- How well do I know the material?
- What percentage of the grade is based on the exam grade?
- Which course takes priority?
- Am I done reading the material?
- Do I have all my notes? Are they organized?
- How much time do I have to cover all the material?
- Break the material you will have for the exam into smaller parts
- If you see that the material is too much, then try to decide which is the most important
3. Plan study periods from beginning to final exams for each course
- To avoid overwork, you can spend 50-60 minutes with a 10-minute break for repetitions and self-examination.
- Choose a study area (see brochure)
- Get to know your biological clock to decide the best times to study
- Do not interfere with your usual routine and allow time for a balance of your activities
LAST MINUTE STUDY TIPS!
- Accept the fact that you have limited time left and that you will not be able to study all the material
- Go through your notes and jot down the ones that seem most important
- Pay attention to definitions, lists, boxes and bold
- Write the things you consider most important on sticky notes and read them out loud over and over again
