Στο πλαίσιο της Έκθεσης Σταδιοδρομίας του Τεχνολογικού Πανεπιστημίου Κύπρου, ο Καπετάνιος Νικόλαος Καρίμαλης, Marine Superintendent στην Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement, παρουσιάζει το θέμα:
"Επαγγελματική σταδιοδρομία σε ναυτιλιακή εταιρεία: Ευκαιρίες και απαραίτητα προσόντα"

Capt. Nikolaos P. KARIMALIS is a Master Mariner with a degree in Maritime Studies and master’s degrees in Technical Ship Management (MSc) and Business Administration (MBA), he holds a postgraduate degree (Diploma) in Negotiations, while he has completed the Professional Qualifying Examinations (PQE) provided by the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers.
Capt. Nikolaos has been awarded with various maritime professional accreditations and qualifications such as the grades of Chartered Marine Technologist from The Institute of Marine Engineering, Science & Technology, Chartered Quality Professional as an IRCA Lead Auditor, Fellow from Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, Associate Fellow from Nautical Institute, FREEMAN from the Honourable Company of Master Mariners.
He joined as an MSI BSM Cyprus in November 2018 from a position as Consulting Master Mariner within Brookes Bell. Capt. Nikolaos has also worked ashore, for Tsakos Columbia Shipmanagement, as a Marine, HSQEE and Operations Superintendent.
Capt. Nikolaos has considerable ship handling experience on various vessel sizes, while he had the command of over 14 vessels. During his over twenty years at sea, Capt. Nikolaos served on a variety of container vessels including Very and Ultra Large Container Ships. He has also served on board bulk carriers and tankers. He has also worked ashore as an independent Marine Surveyor and Auditor, while he has provided expert reports for, and given expert evidence in, legal proceedings including mediation and arbitration in the UK, and United States.
