The Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) offers part-time employment for their student at the University. The following is a summary of some points of the part-time student policy.
- ALL active undergraduate, undergraduate and postgraduate student, who are EU citizens, can work at the University on a part-time basis. The fee is set at € 4.95 / hour (gross).
- Students can work up to 20 hours / week or up to 100 hours / month. These hours can be doubled during the summer months. However, the student's employment may not exceed 600 hours in one calendar year.
- Students who are in the same period employed at the University under a different status are not eligible for part-time employment.
- Upon expiry of the deadline for submission of applications, the Student Life Office shall draw up an Employment List, which shall be communicated to the University entities.
- The University entities make their decisions for employment. The entities is not obliged to invite all those on the List for interview.
- Students who have not been selected for Employment by any entity (Service, Department, etc.) can visit the entities and show their interest and skills.
