You do not have to cancel it. However, if the event / event will bring a large number of people indoors and if it is possible to find people from Category 1 and 2 countries, you should seriously consider canceling or postponing the event or participating in a distance event.
In the event of a decision on cancellation, the Rector's Board will consider requests for compensation where justified.
Here are some parameters to decide whether to cancel or postpone an already scheduled event:
- If the event is not critical to the functioning of the University, consider postponement or cancellation seriously.
- The age and health of the expected audience must be taken into account, as data to date shows that the most vulnerable, such as older people and those with health problems.
- Note that there may be a lack of support for the event as many people choose to stay home
If the decision is to make the event go well, make sure you take extra precautionary measures such as:
- Make it possible to participate remotely if possible
- Ask guests to take precautionary measures:
- To stay home if they feel sick.
-To cover mouth and nose with elbow or tissue when coughing or sneezing and toss the tissue immediately
- Wash hands thoroughly and with liquid soap and water for at least 20 seconds, or use an antiseptic solution with at least 60% alcohol.
- Avoid hand contact with eyes, nose or mouth.
-Use of antiseptic on hands
-Frequently clean surfaces (handles, handles, taps) with common cleaners (water and soap, 10% household bleach solution) or alcoholic antiseptic
-Keeping longer distances than usual between audiences or meetings
-Encourage people in high-risk groups not to come.
