Policies and terms

Tuition refund policy

The following regulations apply to the tuition refund policy:

  • Payment of the program fee guarantees a reserved spot in the program.
  • Programs will be implemented only if the required number of trainees/participants is met. The Centre for Lifelong Learning (CLL) reserves the right to cancel any program that does not meet the minimum enrollment requirements or due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, participants will receive a full refund of their tuition fees.
  • Tuition fees are non-refundable in cases of withdrawal or irregular attendance.
  • Programs will run only if the required minimum number of participants is met. The Centre for Lifelong Learning (CLL) reserves the right to cancel any program that does not meet the minimum registration requirements.
  • If a program is canceled due to insufficient enrollment or unforeseen circumstances (force majeure), participants are entitled to either a full refund of their tuition fees or a reserved spot in the next available session of the program.
  • Refunds are only possible in exceptional cases, provided the participant notifies the CLL in writing at least 10 calendar days prior to the program's start date, providing a detailed explanation for the withdrawal. The written request will be reviewed by the Program Coordinator, whose decision is final. No refunds will be issued for withdrawals or incomplete attendance after the program begins.
  • If a refund is issued due to reasons attributable to the CLL (e.g., insufficient enrollment or unforeseen circumstances), the full amount will be returned to the participant without any additional charges. In all other cases, the participant bears any bank fees and a 10% processing fee to cover administrative costs.

1. Who can attend the CLL programs?

Our programs are open to anyone seeking to enhance their skills and knowledge, including the general public, professionals, and employees of public or private sector organizations. Detailed descriptions of the target audience for each program are available on the respective program pages.

2.  How can I register for a program?

You can complete the online registration form or contact us for more information (lifelong.learning@cut.ac.cy, +357 25 002945). The process is quick and easy.

3.  What is the duration of the programs?

Program durations vary. Some are short and last only a few hours, while others are longer. Detailed information is available on the respective program pages.

4. Are the programs offered in person or online?

Programs are offered in various formats: exclusively in person, fully online (using synchronous and asynchronous methods), or in a hybrid format (a combination of in-person and online). See the current programs section for details.

5. Is a certificate of completion provided?

The CLL issues a certificate of attendance to participants who have attended at least 80% of the program's duration (teaching hours). Certification requires active participation and settlement of all financial obligations.
The CLL can provide guidance on how to use the certificate for potential professional development points. However, the recognition of training for credit depends on the criteria set by relevant authorities at the time of issuance.

6. Are there programs available for businesses?

Yes, we collaborate with businesses to develop customized training programs designed to their needs.

7. Is there an age limit for participation?

No, our programs are open to all ages, provided participants meet the eligibility requirements for each specific program.
