Cut Radio is a Community radio that aims on the participation and representation among the university community members, in the public sphere and the active inclusion of its member in the society.

Cut Radio is based on the motto "freedom of speech", "social equality", "enhance poorly represented groups."

Cut Radio acts as a training area while also enhancing the employment possibilities of its community members in the media. 

Cut Radio is a non-profit medium, it mainly works with volunteers and enhances the participants' familiarity with the technologies of radio, Internet, audio and their convergence.

The community of Cut Radio works as a:

• Group, that allows the student and academic community of Cyprus University of Technology to express their concerns.
• Benchmark, that helps on a network establishment within Limassol and its communities.
• Consistent center, so student and academic international networks can be created with higher aim the promotion of production and research.

Cut Radio acts as a catalyst for local creativity, as it helps to highlight innovative platforms for experimentation with new ideas and concepts. The audience of Limassol is a test of alternative proposals in relation to content which is not transmitted by the public and private media.

Community members who wish to deal with the public or even to test the labor market can experiment with the relationship and exchange with the Cut Radio’s audience.
