Dimitra Perdiou holds a PhD that specialises in Design Education. Her doctoral research investigates the design decision-making process among undergraduate graphic design students.
Dimitra Perdiou completed a BA (Hons) Graphic Communication at the University of Creative Arts (UCA), Surrey. Subsequently, she completed an MA in Design Education at the University of London, Goldsmiths, during which she had the opportunity to work as an assistant lecturer in the BA (Hons) Design.
Her research interests relate to the interaction of design and learning and more specifically on how learning might reinvigorate design and how design might reinvigorate learning. Also,

Dimitra is a member of the of THE ART + DESIGN: ELEARNING LAB and a member of the organizing committee for the annual event of the World Design Day Cyprus.
