Alexia Achilleos is a PhD student in the Department of Multimedia and Graphic Arts. Her practice-based research examines the social impact of AI from a local Cypriot perspective, through a decolonial and feminist lens.

Alexia holds a MA in Cultural & Creative Industries from King’s College London, a Grad Dip in Archaeology from University College London and a BA in Fine Art from the University of East London. She is currently a Research Associate at ITICA MRG of CYENS - Centre of Excellence and at MADLab, Cyprus University of Technology.
