Dr. Melita Menelaou earned her Diploma in Chemical Engineering in 2004 and her PhD in 2009 from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. She has been affiliated with renowned research institutions in both Asia and Europe, including the Advanced Institute of Materials Research at Tohoku University, Japan; the Central European Institute of Technology-Brno University of Technology, Czechia; the University of Barcelona, Spain; and the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (School of Chemical Engineering and School of Chemistry), Greece.
Currently, Dr. Menelaou serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering at the Cyprus University
[...]of Technology. Previously, she was a member of the Department of Chemical Engineering at the same university. Her research focuses on the synthesis and characterization of a wide array of inorganic (nano)materials, exploring their potential applications in technology and biomedicine. In addition to her research, Dr. Menelaou teaches courses such as "Solid State Physics," "Synthesis of Advanced Materials," and "Mechanics of Composite Materials."
