Panayiotis Andreou is Associate Professor at the Department of Commerce, Finance, and Shipping. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Management Science from the Department of Public and Business Administration at University of Cyprus. He also holds M.Sc. & Ph.D. degrees from the Department of Public and Business Administration at University of Cyprus. From September 2008 until May 2010, he was Lecturer in Finance at Durham Business School, University of Durham. His research interests are in corporate and behavioural finance, corporate governance, financial risk management, asset pricing, and operational research. Panayiotis is currently working with the Central Bank of Cyprus on the first study pertaining to issues of financial literacy and inclusion, aiming to benchmark Cyprus against countries included in OECD reports.
