Lefteris is a PhD Candidate in the department of Commerce, Finance & Shipping. He holds the position of Portfolio Manager and Financial Trader in the Central Bank of Greece. He holds the degree in Economic Science and two Master degrees in the fields of Financial Mathematics and Accounting & Finance. He is recipient of an academic scholarship and two excellence awards, as a graduate with highest honors (Summa Cum Laude), ranked as top 1 in class for both his master degrees. Additionally, he is a graduate of Military School of Combat Officers and served as a Military Officer in the Financial Corp of Hellenic Armed Forces for 10 years. His research interests include empirical asset pricing, risk management and analysis of financial markets.
