Georgia Constantinou is a member of the Language Centre of Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) and is specialized in teaching French as a Foreign Language. She holds a degree in French Language and Literature from the University of Cyprus and a Master's degree in Teaching French as a Foreign Language from the same University. She also holds a Master's degree in "Literature, Philosophy and Linguistics" with a specialisation in French Language and Sociolinguistics from the University of Sorbonne Paris IV and a PhD in Sociolinguistics from the same university. Her doctoral thesis entitled " La représentation écrite du parler jeune dans la bande dessinée " - " The written representation of young people's language in comics " focused on the analysis and examination of the written form of this sociolect. The syntax, morphology, phonology and vocabulary of this sociolect were also studied, as well as the reasons that lead young people to use it.
