We are pleased to invite you to the final public event of the European project INTELed (https://www.inteled.org/), which will take place on Saturday, May 25, 2019, from 8: 30-11: 30 at Amphitheater 1 (Building “ Tassos Papadopoulos ”) at the Cyprus University of Technology. The event is entitled "Promoting inclusive education through embodied learning technologies: The case of the INTELed professional development program". The event is co-organized by the Cyprus University of Technology through the Social Computing Research Center (SCRC), the Research Center on Interactive Media, Smart systems & Emerging technologies (RISE) as well as the Cyprus Scientific Association of Teachers for the Utilization of Information Technology and Communications.

INTELed aims to support special and general education teachers in acquiring knowledge and skills about the use of multi-sensory technology for learning and assessment, for addressing the needs of SEN children in inclusive education contexts.

During the final public event, we will present the pedagogical framework of embodied learning underpinning the European project INTELed as well as the INTELed training program, as an innovative professional development program.  Dr. Symeon Retalis (Professor, Department of Digital Systems, University of Piraeus), will deliver a keynote talk, presenting examples of his work on kinaesthetic and embodied games. The event will conclude with an open discussion.
