The National Graduate Tracking and the EUROGRADUATE Surveys have been proposed, approved for funding and are currently being conducted by the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education, Sport, and Youth (MESY) in collaboration with the company PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Cyprus, which was selected through an open public tender process. The two surveys are part of the proposal of the Republic of Cyprus in the Recovery and Resilience Plan which has received funding from the European Union. The National Graduate Tracking Survey and the EUROGRADUATE Survey aim to collect data on the experiences of Cypriot and European graduates during their studies in Higher Education and the impact of these experiences on their professional lives and their lives as European citizens.
Graduates of Cyprus Higher Education Institutions from study programs that led to the acquisition of Certificates, Diplomas, Degrees and Masters are invited to complete an online questionnaire (https://www.cygradtracking.com/) that is common for both surveys. The completion of the questionnaire takes approximately 20 minutes. The main topics that the graduates are asked about in the questionnaire are the characteristics of their programs of study, skills acquired during studies in Higher Education, learning pathways and modes of learning, international mobility, and labour market outcomes. Graduates’ answers to the questionnaire are anonymous and completely confidential. Participation in the survey is voluntary but very important for the extraction of results that can lead to policy planning with the aim of improving the connection between the Educational System and the labor market at national level.
The graduates of the academic years 2016-2017 and 2020-2021 are invited to participate in the first wave of data collection that is currently being conducted (February 2023). To complete the questionnaire, the personal access code is required, which has been sent to the graduates of the afore-mentioned academic years by the Higher Education Institution from which they graduated. Upon completion of the questionnaire, the participants will enter a draw to win big prizes (flight tickets, hotel stays and gift vouchers).
