The first step is to recognize the symptoms of Depression. It is characterized by feelings of sadness, hopelessness, pessimism, guilt, low self-esteem. Depression causes difficulty concentrating, remembering and making decisions. It causes a decrease in energy, difficulty sleeping.
People with depression feel various physical discomforts, experience anger and tension, ask to be left alone, do not go to class as much as they should, may drink more alcohol than before and may talk about death.
Many factors can cause Depression. They include personal, environmental and biochemical-organic factors. Chemical imbalance in the brain plays an important role in the existence of depression. In such cases, drug therapy may be necessary. Other reasons include the death of a loved one, separation, change in financial circumstances, health problems, change in lifestyle, negative way of thinking, disappointment, etc.
