The Service for Acamemic Affairs and Student Welfare accepts applications for a limited number of positions for PhD studies that will begin September 2018 in the following Departments:
- Agricultural Sciences, Biotechnology and Food Science
- Civil Engineering and Geomatics
- Commerce, Finance and Shipping
- Communication and Internet Studies
- Cyprus International Institute for Environmental and Public Health
- Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering and Informatics
- Evnironmental Science and Technology
- Multimedia and Graphic Arts
- Nursing
- Public Communication

The application along with the supporting documents is submitted electronically, using the online application system of the University, Student’s Portal, starting from here
The last date to apply for postgraduate studies is Friday, 13th of April 2018.
The following documents are required to be submitted, with the applications:
- A Copy of a valid Passport or civil ID.
- A Copy of University degree and postgraduate degree at Master level (where required), or a confirmation letter which states that the candidate is expected to graduate before he/she starts the doctoral program.
- Transcript for the Undergraduate and Graduate degree/s.
- A Curriculum Vitae (C.V.)
- A short essay (about 500 words) describing the reasons for choosing the postgraduate program, research goals and the interests of the applicant.
- Any other certificates and documents, such as samples of relevant academic or professional work (publications, articles, surveys, digital work, etc.)
The potential candidates are asked to provide the names of two referee who are in a position to evaluate their academic and/or professional activities. The Department may contact these people as references.
Every department can ask for additional confidential information from the potential candidate or choose to request specific criteria to meet application requirements.
