The Cyprus University of Technology announces open positions for postgraduate studies in the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences of the master level, MSc Cognitive Neurorehabilitation that will begin September 2018. The master program’s language of instruction is in the English language.
The main goal of the program is to train students to develop cutting-edge research skills in the field of cognitive neurorehabilitation in order to undertake relevant evidence-based research in clinical settings. The aim is to provide students with the opportunity to acquire advanced theoretical knowledge, a deeper understanding of current research and advanced skills in quantitative and qualitative research methods. The program also aims to prepare students for PhD studies.
Applicants to the program should hold a bachelor’s degree or its international equivalent. Successful applicants could come from health professionals with a Medical degree or a degree in the fields of Speech-language Therapy/Pathology, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Neuroscience, Biology, and Cognitive Science. Exceptional students from related fields of study such as Philosophy, Education, and Linguistics will also be considered.
Study System and Attendance
For the MSc Cognitive Neurorehabilitation, attendance is continuous and mandatory and can be part time or full time. The classes are held in the afternoon and evening and the class schedule is structured so students that work are able to attend.
