The Sports Department of our University is looking for Volunteers for the staffing of various positions / points for the European Championship of D teams category, which is organized by Amateur Athletic Association of Cyprus.
Our University is one of the co-organizers of the Championship. The Championship will be held on June 19-20, 2021 in Limassol.

EUROPEAN TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP / CATEGORY
Amateur Athletic Association of Cyprus will organize the event on 19-20 June 2021, the European Team Championship / DG Division which is scheduled to take place at the Tsirio Stadium in Limassol.
The event will be attended by 16 countries including Cyprus, as follows:
SERBIA-BOSNIA HERZEGOVINA-MOLDOVA-SKOPJE-ARMENIA-MONTENEGRO-SAN MARINO-KOSOVO-ALBANIA-AZERBAIJAN-ANDORRA-MICRAGRAV
For Cyprus, it is very important that the whole event is completed with success, that is why special importance will be given to the staffing of the sectors that constitute it. As in other major events, volunteering is a manifestation of social behavior where the individual devotes / spends their free time and with dynamic active participation and supports an event in achieving the goal.
The Amateur Athletic Association of Cyprus addresses all those who can and want to participate in the organization of the European Team Championship, with the aim of promoting our country, supporting the project that the Federation is trying to carry out and especially the support of the three-track athletes in their effort to achieve their goals and lead the National Teams to the B Division of the institution.
The main areas where one can apply to volunteer are:
1. Staffing of a Race Committee / a Judge's diploma is required.
2. Staffing of an Information Office at the Stadium and provision of services.
3. Staffing of an information center and providing help at the stadium.
4. Staffing of Medical Services.
5. Staffing of a Team of Physiotherapists
6. Staffing of the Hosting Team and escorts.
7. Staffing a team to help traffic movement (Arrivals-Departures-Traffic-Hotels etc.)
8. Staffing of Work Groups
9. Support staff
10. Staffing of a team of translators
