Since March 2008, the Cyprus University of Technology Student Union (CUT-SU) has been established and set up.
Students are being represented in all governing bodies and therefore participate in the decision-making process and are actively involved in the organization, operation and development of the University.
The Student Union primarily aims to promote and solve the problems faced by students at the University and in the wider society.
Upon enrolment at the University every student automatically becomes a member of CUT-SU.
The operation of the Student Union is financially supported by the registration fee of the students (10 Euros for all years of study) as well as by the annual budget of the University. Sponsorships for individual events may also be granted by organized bodies and services of the State, such as the Youth Board of Cyprus, the Cultural Services of the Ministry of Education and Culture etc.
