Stella Timotheou is a PhD student at the Department of Multimedia and Graphic Arts and her research is being conducted at the Interactive Laboratory of the Cyprus University of Technology.She holds a BA from the Department of Education of the University of Cyprus and a master's degree from the Department of Communication and Internet Studies of the Cyprus University of Technology.

Since 2000 she has been working as a teacher in primary schools in Cyprus. She has participated in several conferences and seminars on pedagogical issues. Her research interests focus on issues such as technology integration in the teaching of various courses, the design and assessment of learning environments through the integration of educational robotics, the use of educational robotics to enhance collaboration and the process of acquiring knowledge around the STEAM fields, technology interplay, the collaborative creativity and playful learning through hands-on and craft activities.
