Her research interests focus on consumer culture and how it influences the construction of individual identity. She draws from interdisciplinary fields and focuses on the intersections between culture, fashion, media, sexuality, identity, and gender with consumer behaviour. Her research approach combines methodologies from cultural studies, sociology of consumption, and critical theory.
Additionally, she examines the manifestations of fourth-wave feminism in contemporary media culture, analysing how feminist discourses are reproduced, transformed, and incorporated into various forms of media representations and consumer practices.
