The Cyprus University of Technology announces the activation of Occasional Attendance Students and accepts applications by the public for a substantial number of modules.
Occasional attendance students are students who attend individual modules or thematic units or both, at an undergraduate or postgraduate level. Occasional attendance students have all rights and obligations of all other students.
ATTENDANCE
- Attending courses is compulsory.
- Each Department appoints an Advisor to handle affairs of occasional attendance students.
- Performance of occasional attendance students is evaluated as “Successful” or “Failed”. In case a student wishes to repeat a module due to failure, he/she shall pay the relevant fees again.
- At the end of attendance, the occasional attendance student is awarded a certificate of attendance and a Transcript.
Spring semester modules 2021-2022 begin on January 17th, 2022, and will end on the 15th of April 2022. The period of final examinations is from the 7th to the 27th of May 2022.
TUITION FEES
Occasional attendance students pay a tuition fee of €80 per ECTS (including laboratory modules). For a module of e.g., 5 ECTS the total fee amounts to €400. The fee must be paid within the first week of the courses. The payment of tuition fees and all necessary information are explained in detail below.
APPLICATIONS
Any person who has graduated from Secondary Education and holds a school leaving certificate (“Apolitirion”) and is in good command of the Greek language, is eligible to apply. Courses are (by default) taught in Greek.
Applications with supporting documents are submitted electronically, via the University Portal (click here), until Friday, 7th of January 2022.
Applicants will be notified of the Departments decision by e-mail by Tuesday the 11th of January 2022.

Each Department determines the modules available for occasional attendance students. The modules offered for the Spring Semester 2021/2022 are listed below.
MODULE DESCRIPTION
Module descriptions are posted on the website of each Department. For any further information or assistance candidates can contact the University via email at studies@cut.ac.cy or by phone at 25002710 or 25002711. The schedule of modules for the Spring Semester, indicating the days, times, and venues of the course, will be posted on the website within the last week of December 2021.
FEE PAYMENT METHOD
