  • One (1) post in the field of  “Cognitive Neuroscience at the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences”

Description: The position concerns the study of cognitive mechanisms, such as short-term memory, attention and perception, and their neural bases. The PhD student will be trained in experimental psychology methods, in the collection and analysis of neuroimaging data with MRI and EEG, as well as in the use of brain stimulation techniques such as TMS and tDCS.

The lab is well-equipped with non-invasive brain stimulation (TMS and tDCS) and neurological, EEG and eye-tracking equipment. In addition, there is close collaboration with other related laboratories as well as with MRI diagnostic centers.

The laboratory is located in the new Rehabilitation Clinic of the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences of the Cyprus University of Technology at the Limassol Old Hospital, just a few minutes from the cosmopolitan seaside front of Limassol. Cyprus University of Technology recently ranked 300-350 among the best universities in the world, based on the Times of Higher Education World University Rankings 2018.

Required Qualifications: BSc in Psychology, Biology, Speech-Language Therapy, Life Sciences, Mathematics, Computer Science or a related subject.

Funding: The location will be supported financially by funded research projects.
