Nikola Evripidou is a Lecturer in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the Cyprus University of Technology. She holds an MEng in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London (2018) and a PhD from University College London (2024), funded by Chevron Corporation and UCL. Her doctoral research focused on the mechanistic modelling of the separation of dispersed flows in horizontal pipes, with an emphasis on flow pattern transitions.
During her PhD, she worked as a researcher in the Department of Civil Engineering and Geomatics at the Cyprus University of Technology (2023), where she contributed to the preparation of two research
[...]proposals for funding.
Her research interests include modelling the separation of multiphase systems and the application of Model-Based Design of Experiments techniques to optimise experimental design and enhance model accuracy. Her work has practical applications in the oil and gas, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries, particularly in equipment design and process optimisation.
