Final written examinations are conducted during the period specified in the Academic Year Calendar, approved by the Senate, following the recommendation of the Academic Affairs and Student Welfare Service.
Examinations during the last week of teaching are not allowed. Additionally, unannounced examinations are not allowed. Oral examinations can only be used as supplementary to other evaluation methods (excluding the comprehensive examination that takes place in the course of the Ph.D. dissertation). In postgraduate modules, the final written examination may be replaced by the submission of an assignment, provided this is indicated in the module outline.
The texts of the final examinations are not returned to students. Students may have access to them if they wish so, no later than 10 calendar days after examination, in the presence of the teaching staff. Any final examination papers and other related material are stored and archived in accordance with a policy defined by the University.
