The University is completing, in two phases, its privately owned student residences in the Verengaria settlement in Kato Polemidia, with a total capacity of 500 rooms. From September 2026, 150 rooms will be available, and from September 2027 the full capacity of rooms will be available, along with shared facilities including a café-restaurant, mini market, gym, outdoor sports courts, green areas, and more.
Additionally, the University collaborates with the Apollonia student residence in Limassol (200 rooms) and with the Municipality of Paphos, which operates a student residence next to the Faculty of Hotel and Tourism Management building (180 rooms).
Room allocation is carried out by the Housing Office, based on the framework determined and periodically revised by the University’s Student Residences Committee, as follows:

Procedure – Explanations
- All new undergraduate students whose permanent residence is at least 25 km away from their place of study are, if they wish, given priority for accommodation in a residence room for 12 months at the subsidized rent, without any scoring (point-based) process. Approximately 200 rooms in Limassol and 57 in Paphos are allocated for this purpose. If demand is higher, this number will be adjusted to ensure that priority is given to incoming students for their first year of study.
- Second-year students and above (including students completing their first year) will have access to a number of rooms at the subsidized rent through a points-based allocation system (click here for the scoring criteria). A total of 300 rooms in Limassol and 54 rooms in Paphos are allocated for this purpose. In addition, they will have access to 150 rooms in Limassol and 90 rooms in Paphos at the standard rent, through a first-come, first-served process. Undergraduate international students from Greece (Greek nationals studying abroad in Cyprus) who are not able to obtain a subsidized room in their second year will have priority access to rooms at the standard rate.
- From the second year onwards, any student who secures a residence room, whether at the subsidized or standard rate, has the right—if they wish—to retain it until graduation.
- The duration of all residence contracts is 12 months, except for final-year students (4th year), for whom contracts are 10 months.
- A number of rooms in Limassol (up to 50) are allocated at the standard rate to Erasmus international students and international postgraduate students. Depending on demand, similar arrangements are made in Paphos.
- During the summer months (July–August), a number of rooms are used for other University needs.
