Who can apply

  • Holders of a degree from a recognized university or holders of a qualification deemed equivalent to a university degree by the Cyprus Council for the Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications (KY.S.A.T.S.) in relevant fields have the right to apply for the Master's programs.
  • Final-year undergraduate students who are expected to obtain their university degree before the start of the Master's program can also apply.

Required Supporting Documents

As part of their online application, candidates must electronically attach the following:

  • Copy of identity card or passport.
  • Curriculum Vitae (CV).
  • Copies of university degrees (or a certificate confirming that the university degree will be obtained before the start of the Master's program).
  • Detailed transcript of grades.
  • A short statement (approximately 500 words) explaining the reasons for choosing the Master's program and describing academic and research interests in relation to future professional plans.
  • Recommendations/Recommendation Letters: For all programs (except the Master in Public Health), it is not necessary to submit the actual recommendation letters. Only the names/contact details/phone numbers of two individuals who can provide recommendations need to be declared, and the Department will contact them directly if deemed necessary (The declaration of the details for the individuals who can provide recommendations is made during the submission of the online application. There is also a relevant reference in the application submission guide).
  • Certificate of English language proficiency is required for all English-language programs. Acceptable certificates are G.C.E/ I.G.C.S.E level O level exams with a minimum grade of C or ELTS/ IELTS with a minimum score of 6.5 or TOEFL with a minimum score of 580 (paper-based test)/72 (internet-based test). Graduates of English-language university programs are exempt from this requirement.
  • Applicants should be aware that for all programs, it is necessary to have a very good knowledge of English (without the certificate of proficiency being mandatory - except for the English-language programs as mentioned above), in order to be able to respond to literature or any other material that will be in English.

Each Department may request additional confidential information from the applicant and adopt any additional criteria it deems necessary.

For the MSc in Midwifery program, applicants must have at least 1 year of clinical experience and will also undergo an interview.

Notification of Application Status

Applicants will be informed electronically about the status of their application via the email address they provided during the submission of their application and through the University's Web Portal.
