Columbia Shipmanagement - Network Administrator

The Network Administrator shall have the following qualifications:

• A university degree in Computer Sciences or Information Technology;
• Experience in supporting operating, networking and communication systems;
• Good communication skills as well as the ability to work within a team;
• Good command of the English language.

The Network Administrator is responsible for:

• Administering and maintaining the smooth operation of all Servers and PCs;
• Administering and maintaining the network infrastructure and network equipment;
• Administering and maintaining the security of the network and its data via security technologies;
• Administering and maintaining the email and communication systems;
• Being adequately conversant with the Company’s Management System;
• Implementing effectively the Company’s Management System;
• Contributing to the development of new or the amendment of existing procedures;
• Promoting and supporting efforts for continual improvement;
• Providing ad-hoc support to computer and communication system users.
• Any other computer related task as assigned to them by the IT Manager.
