Civil Engineer (Nicosia)

On behalf of our client, a well established and reputable company in Limassol undertaking very challenging contracts, we are seeking to recruit a junior Civil Engineer who would work out of the Nicosia office. The position offers great opportunities for advancement for the enthusiastic and quick learner.

Duties & challenges

Be part of and support projects under the guidance of the head of civil engineering department through:

• Supervising and organizing the implementation and completion of interior projects
• Dealing with technical issues/problems
• Coordinating, managing and organizing of construction sites, company’s workforce and external partners as per company’s procedures
• Monitoring of Budget and schedule issues, ensuring timely project management within the company’s high quality standards
• Preparing of payments certificates and quotations
• Ensuring compliance with regulations on Health & Safety (H&S) according to the relevant policy
• Implementing any other duties related to the normal practice of the profession

Must haves:

• University degree in Civil Engineering
• Willingness to work in a team environment and acquire experience in the field of interior contracts
• Excellent computer knowledge, especially AUTOCAD and Microsoft office Tools, etc.
• Very good knowledge of the Greek and English languages both oral and written

Qualifications & Skills

• Up to 3 years of experience in Civil Engineering positions
• Postgraduate degree on Civil engineering will be considered as an advantage
• Organizational skills and effective time management
• Ability to take initiative and responsibility
• Ability to solve problems
• Attention to detail
• Meeting deadlines
