Environmental Administrator

Dromon Bureau of Shipping (www.dromon.com), an International Classification Society and an EU accredited Verification body, is seeking the employment of an Environmental Administrator to support its verification activities for EU-MRV, IMO DCS and CSI schemes.

Major Duties

The Environmental Administrator shall have the following responsibilities:

• Issuance of quotations for the relevant services and processing of signed quotations.

• Opening and closing of assignments and jobs in our internal working platform.

• Processing and recording certificates in in our internal working platform.

• Registration and recording of new clients and vessel in our database.

• Recording changes to ships’ specifications when required, in coordination with other departments.

• Communication with clients and other departments as part of the routinary responsibilities and assigned tasks.

• Completion of forms to record the activities of the Department.

• Handle correspondence and courier services with clients worldwide.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Shipping Science

• At least one (1) year experience working in the maritime industry involved in technical and/or    quality related items. 

• Ability to communicate effectively and work under pressure.

• To be competent in English language commensurate with future work.

• Decision making, pragmatic approach.

• Organizational skills.

• Ability to adhere to deadlines.

• Computer literate.
