Wargaming.net, a leading company in the area of free to play video games, are looking for an early career Junior Game Developer to join our Nicosia office.
As a member of the Wargaming Creative Research/NGen team, you will work on prototypes, get deep practical knowledge of game development within a dynamic environment.
We are looking for Junior Game Developer who are keen to learn and grow professionally. This position considers full time work at our Nicosia office.
What will you do?
- Developing and implementing game software.
- Ensuring that the game design is fully implemented and performs as expected.
- Collaborating with all departments to smooth over technical issues.
- Working in teams towards common goals.
- Researching and developing the suite of software and platforms that will be used to support the game.
- Maintaining code, resolving issues, and performing bug fixes.
What are we looking for?
- University degree in a related field.
- C++ knowledge.
- Some experience with any game engine (nice to have, but not necessary).
- A desire to work in the gaming industry.
- Effective collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.
What the process looks like:
We will review you CV and you if your skills fit, invite you to a video call with the recruitment team in English (30 minutes)
If successful, you will be invited into the Nicosia office to complete a logic test (40 minutes) & a programming task (40 minutes, if you pass the logical test (90 minutes total)
Final stage, would be a face to face interview with the hiring manager in Nicosia (60 minutes)
