Logistics Coordinator
We are excited to announce that Swift Marine EastMed Ltd is expanding its operations and is looking to hire talented candidates for the position of Logistics Coordinator in Limassol, Cyprus.
As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible to collaborate with customers and agents to schedule deliveries, negotiate terms, and address any issues that may arise. You will play a crucial role to the Company's operational effectiveness, customer satisfaction, and overall competitiveness in the market by ensuring a well-managed and optimized supply chain.
As a thriving and innovative organization, we are seeking for skilled and motivated individuals to join our dynamic team and contribute to the success of our Logistics Department.
Responsibilities:
• Communicate and liaise effectively with customers and agents.
• Execute logistic requisitions as required by the customers.
• Prepare quotations, up to the invoicing stage.
• Manage transportation providers, reviewing costs and transportation rates, as well as researching shipping options.
• Ensure that accurate records are maintained for transactions and accountable to compile reports as required.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Maritime Studies, or any other related field.
• Prior experience in this position/industry, will be considered as a plus. • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. • Commercial awareness and business orientation. • Organisational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple tasks. • Ability to work well under pressure and with tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work both individually and as part of a team.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office. • Excellent command of the Greek and English languages, both verbal and written.
