Alpha Recruitment Company seeks to recruit on behalf of a client:

Finance Administrator – Akrotiri

Role responsibility
● Process supplier invoices and credit notes by applying company policies as appropriate
● Perform supplier reconciliations on a monthly basis
● Process accruals and prepayments and prepare relevant analysis
● Prepare overhead analysis on a monthly basis
● Process intercompany invoices, allocating costs to various cost centres as instructed
● Process any necessary month-end accrual and cost allocation journals required
● Process weekly bank transfers between accounts and allocate transactions in SAP
● Maintain organised and up to date financial records and documentation
● Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information
● Perform other month-end tasks as required
● Provide other support required to the department

The ideal candidate
● University graduate in Accounting or related field
● Previous experience in a similar role would be preferable
● Ability to quickly learn and use systems
● Ability to perform reconciliations, identify errors and find solutions to problems
● Ability to monitor and manage workload, especially around month-end, to ensure that reporting
● deadlines are met
● Strong Microsoft Excel skills
● Good interpersonal and communication skills, must be able to demonstrate effective verbal and written
communication
● High degree of organisational skills, methodical, and attention to detail
● Self-motivated with focus on continuous improvement
● Knowledge of SAP and/ or Microsoft Navision would be an advantage
● Fluent in English, verbal and written
● Must undergo and pass a security/police check
