Accountant

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be part of a high caliber accounting & finance team and will have the following main responsibilities:

• Maintaining and updating accounting records via accounting software SAP and contributing to further developments.
• Preparing and maintaining ad-hoc reports.
• Managing reconciliations (cash, banks, receivables, payables, taxes).
• Liaising with creditors and debtors.
• VAT related tasks.
• Contributing to the statutory compliance (Financial Statements, Tax Compliance, External Audit, etc.).

The Requirements

The successful candidate should meet the following requirements:

• Graduate of degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related field.
• Holder of LCCI Higher or GCE A’ Level.
• IT Literate and knowledge of Excel.
• Previous experience with SAP accounting software, will be considered an advantage.
• In process for obtaining AAT/CAT/ACCA, will be considered an advantage.
• Time management skills, delivering high quality results within timeframes.
• Good understanding and previous experience with Tax and VAT matters, will be considered an advantage.
• Enthusiastic team player who enjoys being part of a team, with positive attitude.
• Taking initiatives.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong work ethics, confidentiality, and professional approach.
• Good command of the Greek and English language.
