As an Administrator, you‘ll be responsible for:

  • Assisting the Culinary Training Supervisor and Culinary Training Consultant in the administrative preparation of our online courses.
  • Maintain effective communication with manning agents and principals when crew trainees join or disembark the vessel.
  • Keep crewing agents and principals informed about the progress of their crew participants in the online training, and track new joiners and disembarkations.
  • Report any challenges or issues during the course to the Culinary Training Supervisor.
  • Maintain open and clear communication channels, both internally and externally, with vessel personnel, crewing agents, and principals.
  • Keep training records up to date, implement an efficient filing system, and produce data analyses and reports for performance evaluation.
  • Manage supplies efficiently, from training materials to vessel visit essentials, in alignment with our integrated management system.
  • Request, organize, and manage information related to vessels and participants, streamlining the online course enrollment process.
  • Create and manage template documents, reports, and newsletters, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Proactively follow up with vessels to ensure assessments are completed by the participants in a timely manner.
  • Facilitate travel arrangements for our consultants visiting vessels, including booking tickets, accommodation, and addressing any visa requirements.
  • Planning and coordinating the schedule of Culinary Training Consultants visiting vessels and conducting On-site trainings abroad.
  • Other duties as assigned

Our Expectations:

  • College or university graduate.
  • Computer literacy; excellent knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Excellent command of the English language (written and verbal).
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good time-management and task organization skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Previous Work Experience and/or Education in Maritime Studies is seen as an advantage.
